Our almost Christmas Cards...

I attempted to take pictures of the kids for our Christmas card multiple times and never did it work. With 3 of them, it is almost impossible to get them all to smile at the same time. Here are some drafts....you will see the finished product when you open your mail!

Jordyn's 3rd Birthday!

Jordyn and her presents...
We celebrated Jordyn's 3rd birthday at my mother in laws. Brandy and the kids where in town so we celebrated before they headed out. Jordyn got lots of stuff and had a blast eating all her cake!

At Blake's school they had a Christmas Lunch. It included a program and lunch. We also had went for Thanksgiving. It was good to just spend one on one time with Blake.

Turkey Day

We were fortunate enough to have two Thanksgivings this year. One at the Duggins and one at the Arfstens. As you can tell, I grabbed a couple of pics from the fun at both places.

Blair is crawling everywhere...
Sitting up so good...

And trying to walk!!!!

Putting up the Christmas Tree

Blake dorking out....
The boys and the tree they decorated...

Ben sneaking a snack during the decorating....

Ben liked to help.
This year all I had to do was assemble the tree and I had two little boys more than excited to decorate the tree...so they did it all. Now there might be lights at the top missing and a cluster of bulbs but it is their tree. Blair slept through ti all....

Missing Blake

Blake has been at my Gma and Gpa's this week and he is loving it. Everytime I talk to him he has either been shopping, at church, going to the science museum or just plain being busy and I can tell he is loving it. Ben wakes up in the morning and says, "wake up brother" forgetting Blake isn't on the top bunk. He has talked to Blake a couple of times this week and we all can't wait to see him this weekend.....have fun Boo, we miss you.

Oh Ben....

Hear no evil...
See no evil....

Jaylyn's 1st Birthday

Here is a picture of some of the kids at the birthday party....only some.

She loved her cake!!!

Jaylyn, Brandy's little girl, turned one this week. She was so tired at her birthday party, she was proably asleep before we even left!

Catching up with an friend

Bridget and I were able to get together this last week and go to dinner. And boy, it was so good to catch up. We have known each other since 6th grade and have been through alot together. There were a couple of us that were supposed to meet up that night, but Bridget and I were the only ones that ended up being able to attend. We went to Zio's and sat and talked the rest of the night. It was so good to see her and hear about how good her family is doing now. We decided we were going to have a standing date every month. Annash, want to join?

Blair's new dress

A couple of weeks ago I found a free pattern online for the cutest dress ever...well, after purchasing some cheap fabric and the wonders of a wizard on a sewing machine, my

Gma made this adorable dress for Blair. Can't wait for her to try it on!

Lazy Sunday

Well, as you can tell, Blair is crawling everywhere. We can't take our eyes off of her for one minute....and she loves the freedom!
This is on the way to her brother's room...that is where all the fun happens...

This is the new material for Blair's new dress, Gma. I will be sending it your way soon...

Ben was down for a nap....and when he goes down...we leave him alone....

Blake was hanging out. He watched movies all afternoon and colored a picture for my new office. Thanks Blake.
As you can tell, we took this Sunday as an opportunity to just lounge, heck, I am still in jammies. We are getting ready for the week. Ben is potty training, Blake has a Geography Bee and Blair, well has more crawling to do.

A good day...

Today JD had to stay home with the kiddos because the daycare was closed and as you can tell, he wore them out. I took this picture because this is exactly how Ben sleeps, hands behind head. She was knocked out! I came home at lunch to see everyone and the kiddos were asleep. But JD had made me lunch so we enjoyed the quiet for a little while.
We are officially trying to potty train. Ben wants to wear "Big Boy Underwear" but then he will go in the closet and pee instead of in the potty....I have a feeling he may be a little harder than Blake was....
Well, as you can see Blake took his second grade pictures and I think they turned out great! He is getting so big. He even told me, "look Mom, I smiled for you." My boo....

Sorry....no pics....

Of course we did a lot this weekend, and I forgot my camera. We went to the city and spent the weekend at my moms. Saturday we went to Ted's, www.tedscafe.com, and everyone knows how great that is! We went to celebrate my Gma's and my birthday. Don't worry Gma, I won't tell your age! My Gpa got to sit next to Blair and keep her in line, and also take care of Kathy! The food was great and I was glad I got to see the g'rents. On Sunday we headed back to Lawton for my mother in laws birthday lunch, who also shares the birthday with my Gma. Got to hang out with the Duggins for a little bit before heading home to get ready for the week. I promise....pictures will not be forgotten anymore!

My Cowboys pulled out another win....the Sooners, not so lucky. Cowboys, get ready for Tech!

She's crawling!!!!

I know it has been a couple of days but we have sure been busy around here. My classes are keeping myself busy and JD is having to play double duty a couple nights a week. Saying that, I finally got some pics of Blair crawling. She started yesterday and she is a going! Now she gets frustrated because no one will pick her up...so I attached some pics...they aren't the greatest because she was mad...but hey, at least I caught her crawling!!!

We are heading to OKC this weekend...will post pics again as soon as possible!

Halloween!!!!

Halloween 2009

Our Halloween started off with going to a safe house Saturday night at the Comanche Nation Complex. We saw Kristen and Hayden and there and Ben saw many monsters he was VERY scared of. We had a great time.

Saturday Blake's friend Cooper came over and trick or treated the neighborhood with us. We walked about 1.5 miles around the neighborhood and the kids did real good. Ben was only concerned with his candy, Blake loved being able to run ahead with his friend and all Blair cared about was her vanilla wafers. JD and I wanted to get home for the OSU game. Well, that game sucked.

I am finally over my strep throat. All morning I have been on the computer, "catching up" with homework, bills and of course, the blog.

Mom is sick, but the week must go on

Today Ben and Blair's daycare went trick or treating at the Indian Hospital. All Ben could say this morning was "rrrrrr" like a dinosaur. They are going again to the Comanche Nation Complex tomorrow.
Blair wasn't able to go...still too young, so JD let her rep OSU stuff today.

As most people know, this is Red Ribbon Week. Everyday the kids get to dress up according to that day's agenda. Today was dress from the 60's, 70's or 80's. Since I have been sick , we did not have much time to go out and get anything so Blake wore his dad's football jersey and letter jacket. He thought he was super cool. Also, Blake has went to level 1.4 on his reading. 1.0-1.4 in just little over 1 week. I told him how proud I was of him. When he sets his mind to something, he can do it. Plus, the incentive is that AR readers get a field trip to Incredible Pizza. I am sure that is helping!

As most of you know, I have been sick all week. I felt it coming on Sunday and by Monday afternoon, I was miserable. I went to the doctor yesterday and once again, I have strep. Every year I get it...even though my mom doesn't remember me getting it when I was younger...I have had it just about every year since 5th grade. I told my mom she was too busy with my sisters to worry about me!!! Anyway, I am feeling a little bit better today and plan on going back to work tomorrow. I would much rather be there than laying in bed!!! JD has been on kid duty, thank goodness, and I haven't had to lift a finger. What a saint!

We are looking forward to this weekend. Halloween and OSU vs Texas. Should be a blast!
