Armed Forces Day Parade

The Duggins kiddos waiting patiently for the parade to start....from left to right....Iyonna, friend of the family, Tahjiena, Tatianna, Ben and Blair and Xavier in the back asleep in the stroller...he was getting his tan on.
Blair waving her flags at the soldiers....
Ben with his flags...

Once again, it is important for us to remind us to remember those who sacrifice their lives for us everyday for us to enjoy our freedom...the parade was a great reminder of the many different branches and individuals who fight for our freedom!

Arts for All Festival

Once again we went to the Arts for All festival here in Lawton.  We went to church first on Sunday and decided to have lunch afterwards at the festival.  After lunch, we decided to have some ART time...Ben and Blair enjoyed the canvas painting...

Blake made a stencil fish...it turned out really cool....
Ben getting his face painted...he got an ice cream cone...Blair being her normal shy self didn't get her face painted...
Ben and Blair making their paper butterflies...
Blake painting on the canvas...is his name big enough????

We really enjoyed the Arts for All this year....good food, great art and fun family time...can't wait until next year!!!!

Blake's 3rd grade award assembly

Blake's 3rd grade assembly was today.  Only kids who would recieve awards were invited to the breakfast before the assembly.  This is 2 of my 3 favorite men....

This is Blake after recieving his Perfect Attendance award...2nd year in a row!  GO BLAKE!
He loved showing it off!  Blake, I am so proud of you.  You have done outstanding in school this year and have proved yourself to be a little gentlemen.  Excited to see what 4th grade has to offer you!

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day I was surprised with flowers as well as the beginning of the my Pandora Bracelet....
I got the bracelet I wanted as well as my first charm, a letter "B" representing my kiddos....good job J ;)
We went to church at First United Methodist Sunday in honor of Mothers Day as well as my nephew, Xavier's baptism.  This is us before the service began.
Blake got me a rose at the Children's Service...he knows I love pink....

My family allowed me to have a great Mothers Day.  J got up and made me breakfast, went to church, went to one of my favorite restaurants afterwards.  The afternoon consisted of movies and reading my book.  Blake even cleaned his own bathroom so I wouldn't have to.   I have the best family and I am so grateful for them all.  I love my bracelet, my flowers and the day they spent with me.  Love you all!

Plus, shout to my mom since we didn't get to see her on Mom's day...she is the best mom ever and we are lucky to have her....

As well as to my sister Kathy; this is her first Mother's Day officially as a Mom....get ready Kathy!

Blake's 3rd grade performance for Mother's Day

On Thursday, Blake's school had a breakfast for Mothers in honor of Mothers Day as well as the third graders put on a performance.  It was a great performance that included songs from Toy Story, Phienas and Ferb and other cartoons.

Blake and his third grade peers...his best friend Cooper is on the front row in the red and black.

Blake on the risers ready to perform...

All in all, it was a great performance and I got to have breakfast with Blake.  I am constantly reminded how great of a school Bishop is and am grateful for the teachers and staff at the school.

GO BULLDOGS!!!
